So here I am...

So here I am.  How much more average can you get?  I'm sitting in a coffee shop with my laptop blogging.  I have finally joined the ranks of the young and thoughtful and...trendy.  Who doesn't have a blog these days really? I'm pretty sure that if my grandmother wasn't playing bridge so much she might have one.

I now feel that I must post a small disclaimer...

And that's about it.  Again, pretty average and standard for a blog right?

That being said, let's talk about the day.
I'm not sure there has ever been such a wonderful day in Apple Valley.  It is indeed sad that I was stuck inside at work all day, but I had some short gasps of "fresh" air.  Work itself was fairly standard.  Mildly busy but nothing over the top.  I had the honor of getting to do a data backup (ask me later).  Once done with work i slowly made my way to The Grind (same location as now coincidentally.)  I then traveled home to change from my work clothes into something a bit more relaxing.  I have recently decided to change up my wardrobe a bit.  Gone are the days of old cross country shirts and shorts or jeans.  I am sitting here, my hair done, the beginnings of a nicely trimmed beard on my face, a nice gray button down Banana Republic shirt, a perfectly fitting pair of Lucky Brand Jeans, and my black oxfords. Now, this is style right here.  I feel the eyes of people as I walk through The Grind wondering to themselves:

Who is this man?
Where did he come from?
Does he have a cabin in the mountains where he spends his winters?
Is he available?
I wonder if he would lend me some change?

I answer to all of you: I am John, the average man.  I hail from Apple Valley, CA, the place of my birth and the ground to which I have returned after 5 years of schooling.  I have no luxurious cabin in the mountains. I am very much unavailable.  If I had some change to lend you I would...maybe...just don't be annoying or smelly.
